PHOTOSHOOT 6 (COASTAL LANDSCAPES)

CONTACT SHEETS

ANALYSIS

This photo shoot is slightly different to my previous photo shoot, as instead of using rural landscape photographs, (like Danges, of who inspired this shoot) I used coastal landscape photographs. Once again, I took the photographs using a Nikon camera, as I believe this camera is the most effective to use within my photo shoots. I believe this photo shoot is more experimental than my previous photo shoot as I decided to use coastal landscapes instead, in order to compare and contrast the two different landscapes more effectively. I believe this photo shoot projects an atmospheric feel due to the fact it is a coastal landscape.

After completing this photo shoot, I decided on what I believed were my best photographs and edited them in the style of Micah Danges. The first photograph shown on the slideshow above was created by slightly altering the curves to produce a darker image, of which I believe worked quite effectively as the original image was quite light. Once editing the curves, I highlighted a selection of the photograph and filled in with a bold, block colour, just like Danges did. I then went on to edit the second photograph (Shown in the slideshow above) in a very similar way by adjusting the curves slightly once again, before selecting an area of the photograph and filling it with a bold colour. However, for the third photograph I altered the curves significantly to create an over-exposed unrealistic photograph, this was because Danges did this to his photographs, of which I believe, looked highly effective.
